Wee fat Eck is getting desperate right enough - and the only mention that Andy Murray has made of independence is that he hopes the Scots will vote with their heads - not their hearts. He has never said which way he himself will vote. @CLS Inevitable? I think not - while it may be true that no country that has set out to achieve independence has failed, that only applies when the whole country is 'setting out' with one purpose in the first place. I think Salmond is doomed for disappointment, because going by the polls Scotland is mostly pro-union at the moment.

I don't like his attitude I admit. At the Olympics both Nadal and federer were happy to give interviews but Murray insisted the journalists went through his agent. Bit up himself I think.

Not too impressed with the previous answerer's comments on Tim Henman- maybe he never won a major but he was in the top ten for a hell of a long time. He had a fantastic record at Wimbledon- even if he didn't make a final. I wish people wouldn't slate him- he did a lot for British tennis.

I'd say the competition to find the most miserable git in Scotland was pretty fierce

Yea he is Scottish so probebly miserable because Tim Henman was the best the English could do, so now the English are dependant on a Scot for Glory. Probebly a lot of pressure.

Could be worse I suppose. He could be American :(
