I like both, but my favorite is Serena.

Venus is like ice and Serena is like fire. Venus is mor elike grass courts, calm and steady, while Serena is more like hard courts, explosive and fast.



Best Forehand- Venus, her forehand at peak was impossible to return.

Best Backhand- Serena's always. Venus had agreat down th eline backhand, but it's been gone for several years, while Serena's backhand has always been deadly.

Fittest (Fitness)- Both are prone to injuries, but Serena is fitter. Venus now is just washed up.

Quickest mover on the court- Venus has better reach and takes small steps, but Serena can run more so I don't know. It's a tie.

Best Server- Serena obviously. Venus' serve is overrated. She hits tons of double faults and not as near aces as Serena, even at her peak.

Best Defender On The Court- Serena's defense is surreal sometimes. It's all mental though, she is a fighter.

Best at turning defense into attack- Again, Serena. Venus is more of a situation player where she either attacks or defends. Serena is more versatile.

Best Personality- Even though I like Serena better, I'll say Venus, because she is humble.

More Entertaining To Watch- Serena because she is more dramatic and her game is more interesting.

More Temperamental- Obviously Serena. Venus looks very calm on the court, while Serena can be immature sometimes and say things she doesn't mean.

Best Backhand? When Venus was at her best, her backhand was one of the most feared in women's tennis. Nowadays her backhand breaks down almost as much as her forehand and players pick on it. Serena gets the nod for having a steadier backhand, but Venus hits a better backhand when she's on.



Fittest (Fitness)? Venus takes her fitness very seriously, while Serena has issues with motivation. Venus gets this one.



Quickest mover on the court? Since knee surgery in 2003, Serena doesn't move as well as Venus side to side or forward and back. Pre-surgery, it was too close to call.



Best Server? Venus has a fearsome first serve, but Serena has the total package. Serena gets this. Some legendary players such as Billie Jean King, Chris Evert. and Martina Navratilova has called Serena's serve the greatest women's serve of all time.



Best Defender On The Court? Venus' reach gives her an advantage over Serena.



Best at turning defense into attack? Serena is more explosive than Venus. Their dad used to say Serena is meaner. She doesn't like to be pushed around and can easily turn defense into offense.



Best Personality? Serena has always been more outgoing and friendly while Venus is introverted and can come off rude and aloof at times. Serena is fun, while Venus is kind of boring and dare I say, lame, at times (those who watched their show can attest). I'm not blinded by what Serena says or does in the heat of battle on the tennis court or biased tennis press spin on her press conference interviews. Overall, Serena has a better personality, although Venus is my favorite of the two.



More Entertaining To Watch? This is a matter of taste. I enjoy Venus' gracefullness when she is at her best, but I also enjoy Serena's explosiveness and never say die attitude.
