She's playing very well now, and I think if she sorts out her mental game, she can do it. What do u guys think?

Azarenka is a next generation # 1, but there are too many more experienced players at her door step. Kuznetsova, Serena, Venus and Safina, all eying on Slams to be realistic right now.

Wimbledon and Flushing Meadow will provide her wonderful opportunities for her to step up, even if she does not win.

Hope she reaches at least the semis at Wimbledon.

Victoria might have to wait for the Australian Open to comfortably go for her maiden title, to be honest.

Her game is refining well and mentally maturing. She has been training hard in Phoenix since last year. A perfect place to help her physically fit and practice nearly everyday.

Let us see how she performs next week and on. I have been following her matches along with Wozniacki.

Azarenka has had a solid year so far, but I don't see her beating Sharapova in the 4th round at Wimbledon if they both get there, I think Sharapova sneaks out a close one in 3, it really could go either way.

Look for Azarenka to break through at the US Open in August, maybe all the way to the semi's!!

She has been kicking *** lately, I believe she has won the most titles in 2009 (either her or Safina...), I was looking on tennis.com, and on the editors picks colum, most of them picked Azarenka! I mean, I think it's possible, however she has a tough section in the draw. She could play Maria Sharapova in the 4th round, which I think could be a REALLY good match, especially with all the comparisons of the two. And than if she makes it alive there she has to play Serena in the quarters. So if she toughens it out, and shows the talent she acquires, I think she could win. I think it would be really awesome if it were a Wozniacki/Azarenka final. It's kind of boring watching the same people play tennis, and I haven't seen all that much of either of the girls. This could be a break-through slam for them.

maybe the us open but not wimbledon, i don't see anyone beating the williams at wimbly although it would be cool if someone else could win it this year, i love the williams but i think it's time for a new champion to spice things up in the wta tour. So i think azarenka might have a bigger shot at the us open, it'll be tough but anything can happen.-

I believe she is a bit too early for Wimbledon. The US Open is a much better possibility. Anything can happen with the women's game today?

She's seeded eighth in this year's Wimbledon. She'll need a few upsets to happen for her to win the whole tournament.

As for winning the US Open, I don't know. I'm not familiar with her records on different surfaces (grass, clay, etc.)

the wimbledon and us open are too fast for her.her best chance is at the french which is the best chance for no-namers to win. since henin is out.

no, she is too mentally weak. and if she does manage to win one next year she'll play horrible for a period after just like ivanovic.
