Alright folks, the US Open ended, so I want you to predict the distant future, who will win next years Grand Slams!?

My picks:

Aussie Open: Rafael Nadal and Vera Zvonareva (she's going to stop doing doubles and be fit for the final)
French Open: Rafael Nadal and Caroline Wozniacki
Wimbledon: Federer and Serena Williams
US Open: Juan Martin Del Potro and Elena Dementieva (forgot about them, didn't you)

So that's who I think will win the slams next year, but I'll probably be wrong. I'm also predicting that Justine Henin will retire, since she can't perform as well in the Slams as she used to, but maybe her Clijsters, and Wickmayer can lead Belgium to Fed Cup victory.

What are your predictions?

Australian Open-Federer or Nadal/Serena Williams

My pick is definitely Rafa Nadal-THE KING.He has won 3 Grand Slams in a row now on 3 different surfaces.I think he has the best chance to win it.He has improved his serve a lot with his serve speed around 194 miles per hour and he is serving around 79% 1st serves in.Also he is very aggressive on hard courts now.He is the most complete player on the tour at the moments. He comes into Grand Slams very well prepared and well rested. He is also very consistent.Another pick is Federer...I don't think he will win the French Open and Wimbledon ever again, but I think he still has energy to win a hard court major...The one lesson I learned is never underestimate Federer....

Serena Williams is still injured, but she will definitely play in 2011 and will play the Australian Open and hopefully win it.She has won it 5 times-2003,2005,2007,2009,2010.She is the 2 times defending champion and she plays her best in the Australian Open.I don't think the rest pf the players can match Serena in the Aussie Open. She is so full of energy at the Aussie Open and she is so motivated to win it and I think she will....

French Open-Nadal/Henin

Nadal is the obvious favorite. He has won 38 out of 39 matches in Roland Garros losing to Soderling in 2009 due to knee injury. He has won it in 2005,2006,2007,2008 and 2010.He has the best clay court game and he is the best clay court player in the history of tennis. It will definitely be tougher for him to win it in 2011 because of really good clay-courters-Federer,Del Potro and Djokovic, but I think he could definitely win it.

Henin was not prepared enough in 2010 and she was very inconsistent. In 2011 however that wont be the case.I think she has the passion and desire to win her favorite Slam again and I think she will. She is definitely the best clay-courter on the WTA Tour.

Wimbledon-Nadal/Serena Williams

Nadal has reached 4 consecutive Wimbledon finals, and he has won the last 2.He is getting better and better in Wimbledon.I think he definitely has the best grass court game on the ATP Tour. With Federer not playing good on grass Nadal has the biggest chance of winning it.Serena Williams is unstoppable in Wimbledon. Her serve is unbelievable. This year she served more than 80 aces in 14 sets and she served 20 aces against Cibulkova(6-0 7-5)and 19 against Sharapova(7-6 6-4).She is born for grass because she is the best athlete on the WTA.And best athletes win Wimbledon...That remains a fact

US Open-Federer/Clijsters

Nadal will probably have 2 or 3 Grand Slams before the US Open(I hope). He will defend the FO and Wimby, but not the US Open. There are just too much good hard courters on the tour.I think Federer was born to win the US Open and I think he might have the biggest chance. Also Kim Clijsters on the women's side is born for the US Open as well...She just keeps winning there...I think she is the best defensive player and she also has a good offense. So yeah she will win it again.

In 2010 I got right with Federer winning and Serena winning Australian Open,Nadal winning the French Open and Nadal and Serena winning Wimbledon and Clijsters winning US Open,so I got 6/8 winners which is good in my opinion.

Sorry for the super long text, but I really tried to explain some of my thoughts. And my answers are usually long because I really try to give someone good information when someone asks it,lol!

I just wasted 15 minutes of my life and I'm not even going to get Best Answer... :(

Aussie Open: Men: Nadal, Djokovic & Federer definitely are the favourites.

Women: Even she's injured now but Serena always is a main force in Grand Slam,

don't count her out. Clijsters will be another favourite. Henin and Ivanovic

will be in the list if they can overcome their injury.

French Open: Men:If no injury, Nadal definitely will win. If he lose, Federer and Djokovic will be the

favourite.

Women:Expecting Henin to back in form, Clijsters and Serena are another favourites.

Wimbledon: Men:Nadal & Federer are the only definitely favaourite that I can think of in this surface.

Women:Williams sisters always are favourites.Clijsters, Henin and Sharapova are dark

horses.

U.S Open: Men:Nadal, Djokovic, Federer are favourites.

Women:Serena, Clijsters are top two favourites. But you can't ignore Henin, Sharapova,

Wozniacki.

Aussie Open: I think Djokovic will take on Nadal again and pull out a 5-setter this time. He'll have the crowd behind him. And I think Clijsters is on a roll, so she'll take the Aussie too. Just my opinion.

French Open: Nadal and Stosur. Enough said.

Wimbledon: Going out on a limb and saying Roddick is gonna win Wimby, he should be over mono by then and he gave Roger a run for his money in 2009. Wozniacki is my pick for womens.

US Open: Juan Martin Del Potro, and women's will be Serena.

No I didnt forget del Potro or Dementieva lol, but I wont include Elena in my answer. I have come to the realization that she will never win a Major tournament in her career. These past 2 Majors she entered (not wimbledon) were her best chances, and she blew both of em.

Australian Open: Roger Federer / Serena Williams

Roland Garros: Rafael Nadal / Justine Henin

Wimbledon: Novak Djokovic / Serena Williams

US Open: Juan Martin del Potro / Venus Williams

Australian Open: Djokovic and Zvonareva

French Open: Nadal and Stosur

Wimbledon: Federer and Serena Williams

US Open: Del Potro and Kim Clijsters

Dementieva and Wozniacki shouldn't be written off too though.

Aussie Open: Del Potro & Clijsters Roland Garros: Djokovic & Safina Wimbledon: Federer & Dementieva US Open: Roddick & Wozniacki I think a lot of things have changed over the past year. Clay has become Djokovic's best surface, Del Potro showed that he can own hard courts, Nadal lost his invincibility on clay, and Murray underperformed at slams. There is no dominant player in the women's game and it is very wide open. Of course, my guesses ignore the fact that someone can win more than once, but it is all just for fun. I would love for Dementieva and Roddick to win slams next year, because they really deserve it.

To be honest I don't care much about women's tennis, but I wish Venus would win something. Maybe Wimbledon. I also like Kim a lot, she can continue her unbeaten run in NY and maybe take the Aussie. When will Serena be back? She can win RG.

As for the men, I always want Rafa to win everything as most of you know, but even if I can realistically (at least in my head lmao) see him doing just that next year (provided he doesn't get injured, of course), I don't know, maybe he should slow down and gear up for 2012. It'd be awesome for him to win all 4 majors AND a new Olympic gold in the same year. :-D

Heyyy JBP (lol Im feeling sooo silly.....abt 1 min b4 answering ur ques I was abt to post the MISSING NOTIFICATION FOR JBP....lol I have also typed the ques....then I thought let's visit his profile once to see whether he answered or asked any ques for the last time.....& lol I saw it.....but anyway my purpose is served.....how are u?...where were u?....is everything ok???? or is it some hangover of Vera's loss!!!!! I don't know since then u were kinda disappeared from YA!!!!! Our tennis section's asset JBP can't be so irregular or disappear!!!! RIGHT!!!!!)

Anyway coming to Oin's crystal ball...let's see it's spinning....GOD only 1 name indicating that start with S & end with A & also the surname start with W & end with S.....okk okk I got it....here I go...

AO:

Womens--Serena Williams (u can't stop me....Im gonna take all my sadness & disappointment out her.....I missed her sooo much in USO....so next yr she is gonna win it all...) but the actual reason I will say is......

1) She will be coming back form injury & she will be hungry to come back the circuit once again.

2)She said in last AO that she was surprised to win 2010's AO coz she won every odd yr & she was sure after 09 AO that she will win 2011 (so some magical spark will be there for her in odd yr)

Mens--Rafael Nadal

1)he will be boast up with confidence & after completing career grand slam,he will definitely target 4 in a row :)

RG:

Womens-- Serena Williams (lol I wanna take her all....may be a calender grand slam for her this yr) no but I think Justine Hennin might take it (though I don't want her)....after her return she didn't won any slam ( & fellow Belgian Kim won 2)...so she wanna strike once again in her fave slam....

Mens--This one is tooo obvious...Nadal is closing Roger so he will not miss this opportunity.

Wimbly:

Womens--Serena Williams/Venus Williams(It's gonna be any of the Williamses for sure...it's their territory lol...... Im more confident abt Serena here...though both the Williams's game suits grass bt Serena is more consistent wth the serve & that matters a lot....& I was disappointed wth Venus's performance this yr's USO..she just let herself loose it...So Serena here)

Mens--Roger Federer/ Andy Murry/Andy Roddick ( Well Roger will not gonna disappear soo easily & soo soon...so he will try to put his mark atleast in wimbledon....Another person I think might can win is Andy Murry(his early loss in USO gave him a lesson....& being the crowd fave he definitely will be eager to win his 1st slam in his place.....so not counting him out this time)

I know no is counting Roddick....bt u can't forget his previous Wimbly performances...so Im counting him too...

USO:

Womens-- Serena Williams (now this one Im kinda sure....I think she will win 2011 USO bcoz she will be the one who WANT to it the most this time.....2 yr of real disappointment...she will definitely be the favorite in New York....& she wanna get her crown back there....& Im pretty sure that she Kim will not win 2011 USO...not happening)

Mens-- Djokovic/Federer/Nadal........it can be any of them I really think soo....Djokovic will definitely wanna take revenge of this yr (bt it will be tougj if he had to face Federer there coz he will be looking for the same...) & we can't count Nadal out of it as well after his this yr's performance.

SPECIAL MENTION: In the Women's circuit don't be surprise if Caroline Wozniacki, Vera Zvoraneva, Elena Dementieva & Maria Sharapova win it :)

In the Men's circuit look out for Del Porto & Andy Roddick :)

@JBP: Hey hows ur xam? Is it over? So can we expect u do be as regular in YA like b4.....I mean TS w/o JBP just so lame!!! & lol I can still post the missing ques for u bt since u came back (hopefully) what's the point!!!!!

Bt anyway All The Best for the result...u will do well,Im sure :)
