Question:
How will the players be seeded for Wimbledon? Will Nadal be nr.1, Fed nr.2, Djoker nr.3, Murray nr.4?

I've heard they don't seed the players only based on ATP Rankings in Wimbledon. Federer might be considered a bigger favorite than Djokovic so he would be nr.2. and Djoker nr.3. Nadal will be nr.1 since he's the defending champion.

But I saw a website where they predicted how the Wimbledon tournament will go and one of the "bold predictions" was that Murray will take out Nadal in the semi-final if they play in the same half. How exactly can Murray and Nadal face each other in the semis? Will nr.1 face nr.4?

Wimbledon have the right (unlike the other grand slams) to change the seedings no matter what the rankings are, maybe due to a players previous performances at Wimbledon. For example, last year Federer was ranked World No.2 but still seeded 1st because of his amazing record at Wimbledon.

In all other tournaments, the semi-finals look like 1v4 and 2v3, but for Wimbledon it is 1v3 and 4v2.

However, there are few changes in the seedings and rankings this year for the Wimbledon draw. The first five seeds stay the same:

1.Rafael Nadal.

2.Novak Djokovic.

3.Roger Federer.

4.Andy Murray.

5.Robin Soderling.

Here is a full list of the seedings for the tournament:

Hope I answered your question well and enjoy watching Wimbledon!

The seeds will most probably be like this-

1.Nadal

2.Federer

3.Djokovic

4.Murray

5.Soderling

6.Berdych(one place higher than his ranking)

7.Ferrer

8.Roddick(a lot higher than his rankings)

But I want it to be like this(it won't be something like this but i want it to be like this)

1.Nadal

2.Murray

3.Federer

4.Djokovic

5.Berdych

6.Roddick

7.Tsonga

8.Soderling

But this won't happen.

If the no.1 seed and the no.4 seed are in the same side of the draw they have a chance of meeting in the semi-finals.If the no.1 seed and the no.3 seed are in the same side of the draw they can meet each other in the semis. But I don't think Murray will beat Nadal. It might be a close match but I don't see him defeating Nadal.Nadal raises his game in Grand Slams.I think it will be Nadal vs Murray in the finals,if they don't end up on the same side of the draw.Roddick is good on grass and so is Berdych.Djoker is not that good on grass. So he might lose in the Quarter Finals.

1. Nadal

2. Djokovic

3. Federer

4. Murray

I think that seeds are chosen by ranking for Wimbledon they'll use ranking from 9th may.
