I'm not a tennis fan, but I just read the news about Djokovic and Boris Becker, which says that a tennis player are not allowed to communicate with his coach. Why is that? In football, that's completely normal? Why is tennis different? How is that considered cheating?
Two answers:
Foot faults are illegal!

Tennis is an individual sport. The coach is not usually allowed to coach during a match. Tennis is not like football - the coach is subsidiary to the player. Tennis rules forbid coaching except in team tennis events.

Rules is rules. And apart from Davis Cup when they can, coaches and players are not supposed to communicate during a match, even if it's clear that some do, one way or another.
