Is it 4 3/8 or 3/8 or what? I saw this that stated grip sizes were different in the prince brand:

I have two size 3 rackets and want to buy a third one but I don't know which size it would be. Here are the options:
1/8, 1/4,3/8,1/2,5/8
I think it was 1/2 because I remember it was the second to the largest size but Im not sure.

Look closely on the racquet, it will typically specify the grip size on the inside of the throat. If it isn't, try simply measuring the diameter of the grip (subtract 1/8 of an inch if he is currently using an over grip, add 1/8 of an inch if there is no over-grip and the grip is particularly worn down). Thee buttcap of a racquet has the symbol of the brand (W for Wilson, P for Prince). I believe you may be mistaking the W as a 3. If you find you cannot find the grip size using the aforementioned methods, you can always measure his hand to find his grip (see source for information on doing this).
