Tennis is awesome, playing and watching. However it continually gets no respect by media and sportsfans alike, unfortunately. The "major" sports get all the attention no matter what time of year, and its a kick in the face to tennis athletes, both professional and leisurely players, as well as fans. While I pretty much follow all sports, tennis is right up there with me, but frustrates me how it doesnt get its proper air time and newspaper/magazine print. Even The Tennis Channel doesnt respect its own and air live matches, but instead chooses to air repeat episodes of interviews from 2005-06, as well as taped matches from weeks ago, and even racquetball. If tennis wont even respect their own, how are the media and sportsfans going to? Golf even gets more attention, and thats mostly due to Tiger Woods, and at least Golf Channel shows live tournaments.

I consider tennis my favorite sport. I've been playing for so long, we have pictures of me holding a racket that's bigger than I was. I think it's the adrenaline from playing a really exciting match that gets me the most. Plus, you can take out all your aggressions on the ball if you're at the net (as long as you don't get carried away!)

Tennis is my favorite sport.

It does piss me off when the Tennis Channel shows racqetball or squash, instead of matches from current tennis tournaments, like Dubai, or Pacific Life. Maybe those tournaments signed exclusive deals with FSN.

As a man, when I see girls playing tennis, I enjoy it, i find them sexy, healthy and in control. This is what i like, is the best thing one can see on Sport Channels. BTW: I am so sorry that Abby W doesn't allow IM or email !!!

It used to be my favourite, I have grown out of tennis, but thats cause England sucks at tennis. But I still like watching Federer vs Nadal or Nadal vs Djokovic or viceversa. But most of the circuit is not like it used to be back in the day when Sampras and Agassi were around.

I remember Billie Jean King and Arthur Ashe as names used to attempt to inspire young folks, but I've never really paid much attention to the sport. A jock I'm not - I did ten years in the Army and don't feel the need to prove my manhood playing children's games.

It's not my favorite, in fact, I only just recently started playing, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit! Baseball or basketball would be my favorite sport to play.

I kind of go back and forth on the issue. It seems to be such a racket at times. But then Love/Love is a great way to start any match. Its not my fault that I am so confused, and my answer will probably serve no purpose.

I used to love the sport, but I went over the line and now I am out.

Keep doing what you love!
