You're about 11 years late if you want to be a pro, but anyone can take up tennis at any time in life if it's just for fun.

That's the age when I started learning tennis. You can never be too old to pick up a new sport. Take some tennis lessons, or better yet tennis camp!

No way. I've played tennis off and on since I was 7, and my friend didn't even start until he was 13 and in 2 years he was a lot better than me.

It's all about work ethic.

I started learning when i was 14. I am 15 now and i take a lot of lessons and constantly practice to get better. It may be to late to be a pro but if practice and practice and get good you may be able to play in college.

yeah you can still play and learn though school and work constraints will be an obstacle. hahaha do pros start tennis at about age 4 and like win hundreds of tournaments till they're 30?

It's never too old to start playing sports. If you start playing and you have a natural talent...then it is definitely possible for you to go pro, but remember...you won't be good right away, so don't just give up in like a week! GOOD LUCK!

it's not too late. i started playing tennis at 15 and ended up playing number one at my high school and number one in college.

take some private lessons from the best teacher you can find (avoid the local parks and rec instructors who are usually hacks) and practice every day.

give it a shot. if you are naturally athletic, the game is easy to learn.

No, not at all. I started at 14, and now I play in College.

Join the high school team, and practice and learn from the older players and pro players.

You can do it.

Good Luck

Not at all! I know many people who did not start until they were older than 30! I started in 7th grade so i was about 12, and now I am 16 and am one of the top players in my area. If you play a lot, you get better VERY quickly.

No it's not too late. Not unless you want to win Wimbledon at 16, there isn't much time left for practices.
